”A terrorist for one, is a freedom fighter for the other” is on old saying that comes to mind after the fuss created by the Palestinian conference in Malmö and it’s alleged connection to Hamas. Jamal El-Haj, MP for the Social Demcrats, was one of its participants. The leadership of the party has forced him to a time out from his mission in the the foreign affairs committee in the Parliament.
I also attended the conference to speak about my book ”Nakba – catastrophe before our eyes”.
The campaign against Jamal El-Haj has touched me badly. I got in touch with El-Haj, which I do not know, yesterday and suggested the following:
I will sell my Nakba-book for the reduced price of 190 SEK + postage within Sweden. For every sold book sold 25 SEK will go directly to support the children in Gaza, a purpose decided by Mr El-Haj.
He left to me to choose the organisation: Defense for Children Palestine, DCIP, that ”since 1991 have investigated, documented, and exposed grave human rights violations against children” in Gaza and on the West Bank. They provide legal services to children in urgent need and holfd Israeli and Palestinian authorities accountable to universal human rights principles”.

En av de som medverkade på konferensen var riksdagsledamoten Jamal El-Haj (S). Partiledningen har därför tvingat El-Haj att ta en time-out från sitt uppdrag i riksdagens utrikesutskott
Jag var också med på Malmö-konferensen och pratade om min nya bok ”Nakba – katastrof inför våra ögon”. Det här drevet mot Jamal El-Haj har berört mig illa. Jag kontaktade därför Jamal El-Haj, som jag inte känner, igår och föreslog honom följande:
Jag säljer Nakba-boken till självkostnadspriset 190 kr + porto. Av den summan ska 25 kronor gå oavkortat till att stödja barnen i Gaza, ett ändamål som Jamal El-Haj har bestämt.
Han har överlåtit till mig att välja organisation: Defense for Children Palestine, DCIP, som ”sedan 1991 undersökt, dokumenterat och avslöjat allvarliga människorättsbrott” mot barnen i Gaza och på Västbanken. Organisationen erbjuder bland annat juridisk hjälp till barn i nöd och håller israeliska och palestinska myndigheter ansvariga för dessa brott.
